Artist at Work
My friend and I made several trips to Sulphur to paint a few years ago. Having done two paintings already of the river with its shallow rapids and falls, I looked at her and saw this X-shaped composition. It was too good to resist. She nestled comfortably in the exposed tree roots to capture the rocky waterfalls below, it presented the quietly creative mind balanced between reason and positive emotion.
Framed in a 22" x 26" tan wood frame with a burlap liner.
