Massachusetts Memory
In the fall, Massachusetts is a wealth of color. The people who live in the house on that little neck of land have seawalls to protect their cultivated property from storms, and a boathouse with the equipment to go out to the sea in fine weather. The rocks in front are worn by the pounding of the tide. This is in the late afternoon at ebb tide, slightly north of Beverly, MA
