Sky Dancer

This was my celebration of Oklahoma's Centennial year. It's the feel of my home state: A big sky with tall clouds, a scissortail flycatcher catching his meal on the fly, while another one is doing his sky dance for the female down behind the daylilies. One can almost hear the slow rasping lullaby of the unseen cicadas on this summer day.

Framed in a 24" x 30" gold frame with a black edging. (Like "Beauty and the Beast.")

18" x 24" Oil on Canvas
